Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPXS), a leading manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems for domestic and worldwide military and commercial applications, announced today it has been awarded a new contract for Laser Filter Units associated with various night vision goggle systems. The order value is $1.22 million with deliveries covering January 2027 through December 2027.

The Applied Optics Center, a Division of Optex Systems, Inc., is the leading provider of laser protection optics and optical devices that protect both the soldiers' eyes as well as their state-of-the-art visual augmentation devices. Bill Bates, GM of Applied Optics Center stated, "AOC continues to be in the lead role as a supplier of laser protection optics and optical assemblies to the U.S. military. All AOC employees take great pride in the quality and performance of our optics used for protecting our war fighters. We continue to add capabilities and equipment which will expand our portfolio of thin-film coatings and assemblies. New engineering expertise and equipment has recently been added as we return to the world of infrared optical components. These additions will further cement our role in the world of optics related to the U.S. military."

With this new order, the current Optex backlog is in excess of $28.3 million.
